Pahalgam Attack: PM Modi Promises Harshest Response in Mann Ki Baat Address

In his Mann Ki Baat radio address today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack killed 26 tourists and shocked the entire nation.

PM Modi assured everyone that those responsible for the Pahalgam attack, along with their supporters, will face the “harshest response.” He said that justice will be served and that the government is fully committed to ensuring peace and security in the region.

He highlighted that Kashmir has been seeing a positive change lately, with rising tourism and growing prosperity. Modi called the attack a “desperate act” by enemies of peace who want to stop the progress in the valley.

Following the attack, India has taken strong actions. The government suspended the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan and shut down the Attari-Wagah border crossing. A militant group called Kashmir Resistance, which is believed to be linked to Pakistan-based organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, has claimed responsibility for the attack.

World leaders from countries like the United States, United Kingdom, and China have condemned the attack and expressed their support for India during this difficult time.

The Prime Minister’s powerful words have sent a strong message that India will not tolerate such attacks and will take strict action to protect its people.
