The Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication (MCNUJC) is set to organise a training workshop on 4 May, Saturday at the Hotel Royal Inn City Center in Gwalior. This one-day event will bring together directors from educational institutions across the Gwalior and Chambal divisions to discuss key educational policies and regulations.
The workshop, specifically designed for directors from the districts of Ashok Nagar, Datia, Guna, Shivpuri, Bhind, Morena, and Sheopur, aims to provide insights into the National Education Policy, AICTE, UGC, and various admission and examination guidelines. The sessions will be chaired by Prof. (Dr.) K.G. Suresh, a noted educationist and the Vice Chancellor of MCNUJC.
Prof. Suresh, a senior journalist and a recipient of the Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Award, has had a distinguished career across various national media and educational institutions, including a tenure as the Director General at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication. His experience and insights are expected to greatly benefit the participants.
Established in 1990 and named after the revered journalist and freedom fighter, Pt. Makhanlal Chaturvedi, MCNUJC has been at the forefront of media education in Asia. With campuses in Bhopal, Datia, Khandwa, and Rewa, the university offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses tailored to the evolving demands of the media and communication sectors.
The workshop will conclude with a press conference at 4 PM where Prof. Suresh will address the media, highlighting the key outcomes of the sessions and the university’s future initiatives in educational development.
