- Border Security: The central government has instructed officials to accelerate the completion of fencing along Manipur’s international border. This step aims to prevent illegal crossings and smuggling activities, ensuring better control over border security.
- Anti-Extortion Measures: A strict crackdown on extortion will continue, targeting groups involved in threatening locals and businesses. Officials have been asked to take firm action against those involved.
- Drug Eradication: One of the biggest concerns in Manipur has been drug trafficking. Authorities have been directed to dismantle drug networks operating in the state and take necessary steps to make Manipur drug-free.
